The abilities that history instructors as teaching professionals should have can be divided into two: intellectual ability in historical knowledge and actual teaching ability. Actual teaching ability implies specialization in conveying detailed subject to the students. Consequently teacher appointment examinations require verification in understanding of the contents but should focus more on its effective conveying method and process. This stresses the great importance and priority that class demonstration on the third stage of examination contains. Knowing the importance, this research dealt the matter of ``what`` and ``how`` in the process of the third class demonstration evaluation. As a result, this research concluded with arranging the criteria for class demonstration evaluation in order to appoint history teachers with teaching specializations. In addition this research made a diagnosis of the problems that current third class demonstration evaluation system has. Also presented some solutions such as an official announcement of evaluation categories and method, presenting managerial form for equality, extension in time during class demonstration and participation of students. Furthermore there indicates change of direction that future middle school teacher appointment examination should follow, for example improvement in teaching practice and its practical use, multi-phase evaluation, internship teaching system.
