본 연구는 노인일자리사업 참여유형에 따른 노인일자리사업 참여만족도의 어떠한 요인들이 노인일자리사업 참여기간에 영향을 미치는지 알아보고, 노인일자리사업 참여자의 참여기간에 영향을 미치는 만족도 요인이 집단별로 다름을 검증하였다. 특히, 노인일자리사업의 6가지 유형 중 가장 뚜렷한 인구사회적 차이를 보이는 공익형과 교육형의 두 집단을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 그 결과 공익형은 연령이 많을수록, 남성보다는 여성이, 업무의 내용에 대한 만족도가 높을수록, 월보수에 대한 만족도가 낮을수록 참여기간이 길게 나타났으며, 교육형은 업무의 내용에 대한 만족도가 높을수록, 동료와의 관계에 대한 만족도가 높을수록 참여기간이 길게 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 노인일자리사업 참여의 지속성을 도모하기 위해 노인들의 욕구와 사업특성에 맞는 사업개선, 참여자의 특성에 따른 월보수 수준 책정, 참여자의 욕구를 반영한 업무 내용의 다양화, 참여자들 간의 지지집단 형성 지원 필요 등을 제안하였다.

This study explored any of the factors of participation satisfaction that affect the duration of participation in employment promotion project for the elderly based on the type of programs. Especially it targeted the public and educational programs, which two types show the most visible difference among six types of employment promotion project for the elderly, to research and verified the difference between the two groups. As a result, the public program, the more age, the higher satisfaction for job contents and the lower satisfaction for payment involved a long period. By contrast, educational program, the higher satisfaction for job contents and the higher satisfaction for the relationships with colleagues appeared a long participated period. Based on these results, it suggested the job improvement that meets the elderly`s needs, the arrangement of salary based on the characteristics of the participants, the diversification of job contents that reflect participants` desire and the needs of forming a supporting collective between participants.
