한국의 협상 문화는 장유유서, 권위주의 조폭 기질과 비합리성과 같은 특징을 지니고 있다고 한다. 과거의 이런 낡은 협상 문화를 가능한 빨리 청산하고 합리적이고 평등한 협상 문화를 교육적으로 구안하려면, 협상의 본질을 파악하도록 하는 효과적인 교수 학습 방법과 자료를 개발할 필요가 있다. 협상 교육의 목적은 협상에 대한 학생의 태도, 가치, 행동을 총체적으로 변화시키는 데 있다. 본고는 이 목적을 달성하고자 학생들의 심리와 사회·문화적으로 친숙한 소재와 자료를 협상 내용으로 삼고, 모든 학생이 참여할 수 있는 학습 환경을 구축하여 실천적 협상 경험을 맛보게 하였다. 그리고 협상 경험을 효과적으로 교육하는 단계로 협상 전 단계, 사전 협상 단계, 본 협상 단계, 협상 후 단계를 설정하였다. 그리고 2차시에 걸쳐 각 단계에 필요한 활동을 배치하여 협상을 수행하도록 하였다. 본고에서 설정한 이러한 내용들은 궁극적으로는 협상 교육의 필요성을 검증하기 위한 작업이다. 그리고 학생들 스스로 교육의 주체가 되어 협상 경험을 해 보고 그 필요성을 자각하고 판단하도록 구안하였다. 물론 이러한 판단 과정에서 무엇보다 중요한 것은 교사의 역할이다. 교사는 학생들이 협상 교육의 각 단계마다 제시된 활동을 잘 수행할 수 있도록 체계적인 계획을 세워야 할 뿐만 아니라, 자신들의 행동을 스스로 성찰할 수 있도록 도와주어야 한다. 이 분야에서 전문적인 시각을 지닌 실천적 연구자로 거듭나기 위해서는 교사의 지속적인 실천과 노력이 필요하다.
The features of culture of negotiation in South Korea are irrational and authoritarian. These features should be changed to an equal and rational culture. Effective teaching methods is to identify the nature of the negotiations. And it is need to develop effective teaching by developing materials. The purpose of negotiation is to transform the attitudes and values and behaviors of students. And contents and materials of negotiation should be developed for students friendly. Teachers should to build a learning environment which all students will participate in the experience of negotiating. Steps 4 is teaching of negotiation. Using this steps, students will be experience to negotiation effectively. There are several activities in each steps This steps are performed over the course of negotiations. The purpose of this paper is to verify of the necessity of education about the negotiation in secondary schools. The heroes of this activity are students who verify the need of experience and realize values of this. The teacher`s role is also important in the negotiations. Teachers should try to establish a systematic plan. The plan helps the students activities. And the plan helps students to reflect of their activities. Teachers should continue to do these things. Someday they will have professional and practical knowledge of this planes.
