본 논문은 중국과 한국의 외교 관계 수립 15주년을 기념하기 위하여, 중국과 한국 쌍방 관계의 발전에서 얻은 성과와 그 문제의 고찰을 통해서 다음의 두 가지 관점을 제안한다. 하나는 "형세는 기본적으로 건강하나 여전히 문제도 발전하는 중"이라고 진단하고, "미래를 향한 최적화 전략"이라는 처방을 제시한다. 다른 하나는 "경제협력 밀접화, 전략적 의의 명료화, 인문교류 심화"의 추세에 따라 새로운 단계의 전망을 내놓는다. 중한관계의 전면적 협력 동반자 관계에서 전략적 제휴 동반자 관계로 발전할 가능성을 지적하고 있다.

This paper aims to analyze major issues raised in the repid developing South Korea-China relations after their diplomatic normalization in 1992. The history issue even showed the clash of Korean nationalism and Sino-centrism. China as a multi-ethnic country wants to incorporate all the histories of their minorities into its own history, while Korea tries to keep their national history in the ancient times.
