Living Up to Death consists of the subject of mortality. Likely inspired by himself approaching death, how a philosopher understands the death? Paul Ricoeur examines not one`s own passing but one`s experience of others dying. He notes that when thinking about death the imagination is paramount, since we cannot truly experience our own passing. But those we leave behind do, and Ricoeur posits that the idea of life after death originated in the awareness of our own end posthumously resonating with our survivors. Death is not only the mourning and cheerfulness in our life, but also the projection of Being according to Martin Heidegger. Account for our terms, means the projection of Being a well-dying? To well-dying, how to do well-being? My interpretation about mourning and cheerfulness consists in the following sentence ``to mourn over one`s death truly is to forgive by love`` and ``to cheer joined to a hoped for grace of existing until death, the meaning of resurrection.
