The purpose of this study is to explore the similarities and differences between Jungdaeup and Pazinac by comparing them in terms of performance manner. As a result, it was found that Jungdaeup would symbolize the ``coexistence(相生)`` of the five elements(五行) for dance formation, and at the end it represented the ``coexistence of yin-yang.`` It could be said that Pazinac was different from Jungdaeup in terms of dace formation, as the former was based on Palzindo and the latter was based on the five elements. However, there was a similarity between them in terms that they used the same Palzindo from Munwangpalgwaebangwydo(文王八卦方位圖). The difference of their music is that Pazinac used a magnificent drum sound and Jungdaeup used a graceful sound from ``Hyangdanggoyju(鄕唐交奏).`` The former sang the work of Taejong while the latter sang the works of Monjo(穆祖), Hwanjo(桓祖), Taejo(太祖), and Taejong(太宗) who were the ancestors of Sejong. There was a similarity in their dresses, especially in their armor code. But the difference of their dresses is that Jungdaeup used a variety of colors for its amor according to the direction drawn from the idea of five elements as well as dancing instruments such as spear, sword, bow, and arrow, while Pazinac used only silver amor and a spear as a tool. As a result, it could be said that Jungdaeup might have imitated Pazinac because it used the same basic Palzindo for its dance formation and praised the work of king. However, it was found that the dancing tools and dresses of Jungdaeup were different from those of Pazinac and there was a big difference in their musical representation. Also, in real performance, Jungdaeup clearly represented ``yin-yang coexistence(陰陽相生)`` and this was the superiority of its performance.
