This is a study on learning Russian-Korean in-tandem. Tandem is a type of learner-oriented learning, but not of teacher-oriented learning, and it`s a study-centered class contrary to lecture-centered class. We tried Russian-Korean tandem for the first time in the country. Nowadays the creation and lapse of knowledge occurs at a rapid pace. In this age of upheaval the ability to select the desired alternative is considered as a major role of education. And in this regard self-oriented learning is getting more attention. Tandem is self-oriented learning, so it has a feature of autonomy. At the same time tandem is based on the partnership, therefore specific learning activities are being done in tandem partnership of one by one. And dialogue between tandem partners is interaction based on strict partnership, but not a unilateral one. Tandem classes focus on communication skills among other things. So tandem stresses on fluency and communication between tandem partners more than grammatical structure of a language. Tandem classes, though given a limited time, are capable of supplying tandem partners with a considerable amount of interesting inputs. It also makes easy output by reducing lingustic monitoring. And by adopting extra-classroom activities and report on them, we let students utilize outer world as acceptible inputs. Tandem with these features is a perspective method of learning foreign languages, in this case, Russian and Korean languages.
