본 연구의 목적은 타인과 사회적 관계를 형성하고 상호작용하는데 필수적인 요소인 마음이론을 바탕으로 한 음악극이 아스퍼거 증후군 아동의 자기인식과 자기효능감, 자아존중감에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 있다. 연구 대상은 사회적인 문제로 어려움을 겪는 초등 저학년 아스퍼거 증후군 아동으로, 이들은 2010년 2월 2일부터 4월 1일까지 주 2회, 40분씩 총 18회기에 걸쳐 시행된 음악극 집단과 이야기 나누기 활동 집단에 각각 10명씩 무선 배치되었다. 본 연구는 아스퍼거 증후군 아동의 자기인식, 자기효능감, 자아존중감 사전, 사후 검사를 통해 마음이론에 입각한 음악극의 효과를 검증하고자 하였고, 연구 결과 자기인식, 자기효능감, 자아존중감 점수에 있어 음악극 집단과 이야기 나누기 활동 집단 간에 유의미한 차이가 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of therapeutic music play based on theory of mind for children with Asperger Syndrome`s self-cognition, self-efficacy, self-esteem. The subjects of this study were the lower grade in elementary school children with Asperger Syndrome selected from 00 Hospital in Seoul. They were randomly assigned either therapeutic music play group and discussion group for each 10. This study was implementing from 2nd February to 1st April, twice a week, during 40 minute. The design of this study was pre - post test and t- test was used to analyze the data. The results of this study that there were statistically significant differences among the therapeutic music play and discussion group in children with Asperger Syndrome`s self-cognition, self-efficacy, and self-esteem.
