This paper has its purpose in searching for integrated education methods between speaking and grammar in communicative Korean language education. In the field of Korean education domestically, it is common to teach speaking, listening, reading and writing together, rather than running an independent grammar class. Therefore, if one finds factors in grammar that effects communicative ability and effective way of integrating it, the effectiveness of skill-centered Korean integrated education will gain more effect. In chapter 2, in order to search for the effective integrated teaching methods of grammar and speaking, the correlation between speaking ability and grammar will be looked at, and also the need of discourse grammar in order to improve communicative skills. In chapter 3, the paper searches for research directions of discourse grammar within the integrated education and also its limits. In chapter 4, the present conditions and problems on integrated education of speaking and grammar are looked at within the recently developed Korean textbooks.
