다문화 교육은 두 가지 차원에서 제시되고 있다. 그 하나는 다문화 가정을 위한 ``교육기회의 보상적 배분``의 측면에서 이루어지는 교육이고, 다른 하나는 모든 사회 구성원들을 대상으로 하는 ``다문화 이해를 위한 교육``이다. 효과적인 다문화 교육을 위해서는 다문화 교육대상별 구체적인 교육적 요구분석, 학습자 분석에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구조사는 다문화 교육에 있어서 학습자 요구분석에 대한 필요성과 맥락을 같이하여 시도되었다. 우리나라에 거주하는 여성 결혼이민자들이 바라보는 한국인의 윤리적 의식과 행동에 대한 조사는 다문화적 윤리교육에서 다루어야 할 학습경험과 내용을 선정하고 교육하는데 그 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다. 이번 조사 연구에서 나타난 결과를 종합적으로 살펴보면 여성 결혼이민자들은 한국인의 윤리적 가치와 행동에서 한국인들이 일상생활에서 "다른 사람에 대한 존중성"과 "다른 나라 문화에 대한 수용성·개방성"이 매우 부족한 것으로 조사되었으며, 이는 여성 결혼이민자들이 한국인들의 윤리적 가치와 행동이 개선되기를 희망하는 것과 일치하고 있다. 또한 이번 조사결과는 한국인들이 여성 결혼이민자들을 대함에 있어서 출신국적에 따른 차별의식이 강하다는 것을 나타내고 있다. 이러한 한국인의 출신국적에 대한 차별의식은 비단 여성 결혼이민자들에게만 적용되는 문제가 아니며, 한국에 거주하는 타국 출신자 모두에게 적용될 수 있다. 여성 결혼이민자들이 한국인들에게 가장 개선되기를 바라는 것이 "다른 문화에 대한 배려, 타인에 대한 존중"으로 조사된 것은 다문화 교육의 근간이 보편적 인격교육이라는 점을 확인시켜 주고 있다. 이에 우리는 보편적인 윤리적 덕목과 가치를 다문화 교육의 중심으로 삼되, 우리사회에 거주하는 타국 출신자들의 요구도 조사를 통한 시사점을 다문화적 윤리교육의 강조점 및 내용선정에 반영해야 할 것이다.

Today is the age of multi-cultural society. Multi-cultural society have many problems in various areas. So the importance of multi-cultural education more increases in course of time. The multi-cultural education includes two approachs. The one is the education for multi-cultural families. Another is the education for all citizens. In order to promote the multi-cultural education, it is necessary to survey, and analyze the ethical needs of immigrants. The aim of this survey is to support the multi-cultural education as base materials. This survey suggests that the ethics of Koreans which married woman immigrants ecognize is low level in point of ``open mind & attitude to other culture`` and ``respectful mind & attitude to other country immigrants`` at ordinary life. This means that Korean have low level ethics for other culture, other people, and other state. In conclusion, it is very necessary for Korean to promote the ecognition, apprehention of varieties. Also, this study suggests the core of the multi-cultural education is to be based on universal ethics. The results of this study correspond to that of other survey. Although this study have some meaning on the multi-culutral education, it have limits. Therefore, to promote the multi-cultural ethics education the study of needs of other country immigrants is to be continue.
