This study analyzes the civil service examination Passers in Naju Area of Chosun Dynasty. The Family was seventies that had passed the Classics and Literary Licentiate Exam. And the Major Family of that was Naju Na(羅), Kwangju Kim(金), Naju Yim(林), Naju Jung(鄭), Naju Oh(吳), Yeohung Min(閔). These reaches to 41.13%. And this Major Family plus the other eleven Family reaches to 64.21%. The social status of this Passer was Youhak(幼學). This reaches to 89.45%. And these Passers was 36.47 years old on the average. The Families was 42 that produced successful candidates in the civil service examination in Naju Area of Chosun Dynasty. This Families produced ninetie successful candidates. The Major Family was Naju Na(羅), Naju Yim(林), Yangsung Yi(李), Hampung Yi(李), This reaches 31.1%. And these Passers was 39.24 years old on the average. The other side it was come to be low that the social status of provincial noble families(地方 士族). This appearance had relation to the so-called Bulyuls(閥閱), the ruling segment in the late Dynasty, which was based on Seoul.
