경화성 상피모양섬유육종은 심부 연부조직에 생기는 매우 드물지만 특징적인 섬유육종의 하나이다. 저자들은 좌측궁둥이 부위 동통과 종물을 주소로 내원한 34세 여자 환자에서 경화성 상피모양섬유육종으로 진단되었던 증례를 경험하였기에 이를 보고한다.

Sclerosing epithelioid fibrosarcoma (SEF) is a rare and poorly recognized variant of fibrosarcoma of deep soft tissue. We report the case of a 34-year-old woman who presented with a painful and palpable mass in the left buttock that was diagnosed as SEF. (Korean J Med 79:583-586, 2010)
