본 연구의 목적은 예비 특수체육교사들의 특수체육목표에 대한 인식을 규명함으로써 특수아동을 위한 체육 교육과정 운영에 시사점을 얻고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 특수체육 관련학과가 있는 전국의 6개 대학교에 재학 중인 4학년 학생 85명을 대상으로 조사한 다음 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비특수체육교사들은 장애영역별 특수체육의 목표 순위에서 지체장애를 제외한 모든 장애영역에서 긍정적 자아개념, 즐거움/긴장완화, 사회적 능력 순으로 높게 인식한 반면 체력을 가장 낮은 순위로 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 지역별 특수체육의 목표 순위에서 수도권과 지방 모두 긍정적 자아개념을 가장 높게 인식하고 있었으며, 다른 목표들은 비슷한 순위로 인식하고 있었다. 셋째, 성별에 따른 특수체육 목표 순위에서 남녀 모두 긍정적 자아개념을 가장 우선시 하고 있으며, 다른 목표들은 비슷한 순위를 보이고 있었다.

The purposes of this study is to find out level of perception of preparatory teachers for adapted physical education on object of adapted physical education. For this purpose, the subjects were 85 trainee teachers who completed practical teaching, and the questionnaires were mailed to them. Of them, a total of 82 questionnaires were analyzed. The results are as follows; First, regard of categorial disabilities, in object of physical handicap, priority is rehabilitation and therapy, the others parties are high level at positive self-concept, social ability, pleasure in order. and regardless of categorial disabilities, participant thought that physical stamina was most lower. Second, in rank according to location, all are thought that priority is positive self-concept, the others are similar ranks. there are no remarkable difference. Third, in rank according to gender, all are thought that priority is positive self-concept, the others are similar ranks. there are no remarkable difference.
