본고는 <중한관용어사전>을 편찬하기 위한 기초 연구로서 사전 편찬의 방향과 기술 방식을 거시 구조와 미시 구조로 나누어 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 2장에서는 기존에 출간된 중한사전, 중한관용어사전의 문제를 분석, 검토하여 새로운 사전의 성격을 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 첫째, 제2외국어로서 중국어를 학습하는 한국인을 위한 이언어 사전이다. 둘째, 듣기/읽기와 같은 이해용 사전과 말하기/쓰기와 같은 표현용 사전의 기능을 병행한 사전이다. 셋째, 초급부터 고급 학습자까지 두루 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 이용자 중심의 사전이다. 넷째, 종이사전뿐만 아니라 전자사전으로도 편찬하며 다양한 검색이 가능하도록 구현한다. 위와 같은 네 가지 성격의 사전을 편찬하기 위해 3장에서는 사전의 거시 구조 구성에 대해 살폈다. 중국어 관용어 표제어 선정 기준과 방법, 그리고 표제어 배열 방식에 대해 다루었다. 표제어 선정에서는 기존 사전에 두루 등재된 관용어를 데이터베이스화한 뒤, 학습용 관용어, 고빈도 관용어, 신어 관용어를 사전의 규모와 목적에 따라 그 수를 조정하는 안에 대해 제안하였다. 4장에서는 미시항목 기술에 관해 다루었다. 중국어 관용어의 병음 정보에서는 표준 발음과 방언 발음, 구어와 문어 발음을 구분하는 방법을 제안하였다. 문법 정보에서는 문형 정보와 제약 정보 제시 방법을 예를 통해 밝혔다. 또한 중국어 관용어와 한국어 대역 표현 간의 다양한 유형을 나누고 그에 따른 뜻풀이 방식을 제시하였다. 그밖에 용례처리 원칙과 세부 지침, 화용 정보 및 관련어 정보 기술 방안도 구체적인 예를 통해 제안하였다.

This study intends to introduce a plan for compiling a new dictionary of Chinese-Korean idiom and to describe a lexicographical characteristics of Chinese-Korean idiom dictionary. We study a characteristics of bilingual dictionary and learner`s dictionary on the Chinese-Korean Dictionary. And we analyzed the problem of previous dictionaries; the idiom entry, the explanation of meaning, examples and so on. It is often found that the contemporary Chinese-Korean idiom dictionaries provide inappropriate and insufficient information for Korean users. Therefore we proposed more specific manners of idioms descriptions on Korean-Chinese Idiom Dictionary which will be compiled. In the macro-structure of this dictionary, the selecting and arrangement of idioms as headword are described. In the micro-structure of this dictionary, pronunciation information, definition, example and sentence-patterns are presented each case in detail. Finally, we proposed manners of description to show pragmatic information and reference information.
