This study aims to analyze an office warrant sent to Yeojogyeom in 5(1178), King Sunhee of the Southern Song Dynasty, and specify the office warrant system. The left-right Prime Minister system was enforced in 3(1129), King Gojong Geonyeom of the period, and Three-seong System was reformed to Two-seong System. Accordingly, Yeojogyeom`s Chiksugoshin was influenced by Two-seong System. The official seal stamped on such an office warrant was ‘Sang-Seo-Yi-Bu-Go-In(尙書吏部告印)’, and stamped on four seals from top and bottom. This is different from the Dang Dynasty`s office warrant system which stamped on five seals from top to bottom. It was found that the 8 sheets of papers were Daereungji which followed the established format on the year of coronation of King Hwijong of the Northern Song Dynasty. The typeface is a Wonche which was introduced to the Song Dynasty at the end of the Dang Dynasty. The Wonche refers to the penmanship of the 「Dae-Dang-Sam-Jang-Seong-Gyo-Seo(大唐三藏聖敎序)」 which Buddhist monk Hoein in the Dang Dynasty made by collecting the letters of Haeng-Seo written by Wang Hee-Jee. This study is not simply a study of the office warrant system in Southern Song Dynasty but a historical marker of the appointment of officers across East Asia at the time.
