일선 교육현장에서 기초 디자인작품에 대해 왜 좋은지 혹은 왜 나쁜지에 대한 정확한 진단은 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 지금은 과거와 달리 디자인의 사고영역이 점점 넓어지거나 복합적으로 고려되어야만 되는 상황 하에 있다. 그리고 기존의 도식화된 틀 속에서의 디자인방식을 포함한 그 디자인이 지닌 내용에 있어서도 체계적인 분석방법을 제시하는 것은 중요하다고 하겠다. 본 연구는 기초디자인의 기본방향을 명확하게 설정하고, 디자인 사고력에 대한 다양한 접근과 디자인분석력을 통합적으로 살펴보기 위한 방법에 대한 제안을 하고자 하는데 있다. 연구의 주된 범위에는 매트릭스방법에 의한 디자인내용의 예시와 분류, 제시, 사례연구 및 분석표작성 그리고 분석에 대한 해석이 포함되어진다. 본 연구의 결과로서 새로운 매트릭스형식에 의한 디자인분석방법을 제시하고 그와 관련한 내용들을 분류·제시하고 있으며, 이를 통해 기초디자인교육 향상을 위해 교육자와 학습자에게 필요한 정보들을 제공하자 한다.

It is important to check up which basic design work is good or bad in the field of the design education. Comparing to the past, the field of the thinking becomes wider and more complex in this time. Moreover, with the conventional design methods at present, also it is essential to suggest organized analysis methods about the contents of a design work. This article is designed to set up the direction of the basic design, and to suggest the method of design analysis from an integrated point of view. Main scopes of this article are formed with the definition of words, the classification of the design contents, analyses of the examples, the matrix table of the design works, and the explanation of the analysis by using matrix form. As a result, suggesting the method of the design analysis with a new matrix style, this research will provide both an educator and an educatee with the information for the development of the basic design education.
