이 글은 미래 사회 변화에 대한 예측에 기초하여, 교육과정의 방향을 탐색하고자 기술하였다, 미래사회는 정보화, 지식화, 사회라는 점에서, 종래 유지되어 왔던 교육과정의 패러다임에도 일대 수정이 필요할 것으로 전망된다. 이 글에서는 먼저 미래시제의 교육관, 미래사회의 사회의 윤리, 인간상 설정에 대한 논의와 아울러 이 글의 핵심이라고 할 수 있는 미래 교육과정의 구안방향에 대해서 언급하고 있다. 미래 교육과정의 구안방향은 교육목표의 설정, 교육내용의 선정과 조직, 교수-학습 조직 및 교수방법, 교육공학 및 환경여건 등의 차원에서 언급되었다.

The main purpose of this study is to discuss the orientation of future oriented curriculum. Future oriented curriculum have been based on the theories of futurology which included in various futurist`s views. Forecastings to be argued by futurists suggest to need the future oriented curriculum that educators prepare to futuristic social change. The issues of future oriented curriculum in this study are composed of 4 areas which represents in curriculum research fields, that is, educational purpose, contents & scope, instruction skills,educational technology & environment. By discussing about all of 4 are-as are concluding as follows: First, educational purpose in future oriented curriculum will be selected not by traditional standing points but by futuristic perspectives Second, contents & scopes in future oriented curriculum must be decided in consideration of the learner`s interests that can lead to self-participating in process of deucation. Third forecasting techniques to have been refined by futurists may be invoked instructional skills in teaching-learning settings. Fourth, applicable computer soft／hard ware to have been developed by educational technologists play a role as a catalyzer that can facilitates to develop of future oriented curriculum.
