오늘날 화예디자인은 화훼재료를 사용한 장식의 범위를 넘어선 다양한 모색과 시도를 하고 있다. 그중 하나는 예술적 추구를 통해 조형예술의 한 부분으로 편입되고자 하는 경향이 있다. 이번 화예디자인학회 연구 작품전에 출품작의 하나인 "자연의 순리와 나"는 그러한 조형적 시도 가운데 특수한 예로서 영상작가와 화예작가가 협동 작업을 하여 프로젝트 형식으로 진행된 실험적 시도가 되었다. 예술 분야 간의 상호연계가 이루어지는 과정과 그 표현을 기록하고자 한다.

The floral art today is expanding its work scope exploring various possibility far beyond decorative purpose. the remarkable exploration in this field is to create art work for its own purpose. the work name "nature`s principle and me" is an example for that exploration, which has taken very special approach of cooperative work between the video artist and the floral artist. It is the purpose of this thesis to report what it is the process and the expression of the cooperation.
