Rural tourism has been often suggested as one of strategies to tackle with socio-economic crises of the nation`s agricultural sector. However, most of previous studies on farm tourism, in fact, have dealt only with general definition of rural tourism to search for policy alternatives and seem to fail to go further. Thus, any noticeable differences can hardly be found in most of the previous literatures, even though they chose different farm areas for the same studies, especially in the general flow and suggested results of the studies. The studies also fail to go through the research limitation in solving the suggested problems. It is admitted that this study also has the same limitation as a secondary research, but its contribution would be found in rather clearly spelling out the major research problems to be dealt with through critically analyzing the previous research efforts on the subject.
