Recently, various natural resources derived from animal, plant including herbs, marine products are highlighted all over the world and utilized in cosmetic development according to the general tendency of preference for nature. Particularly, the research and development of cosmeceuticals derived from the natural products, which have the function of whitening, anti-aging, sun-screen are now under way. This study will show the R&D trend and industrial status of cosmeceuticals using natural materials through the patent information analysis of cosmeceuticals derived from natural products.
