The Relationship Between the Level of Participation and Sociability of Dance Sports and Ego-Realization

The purpose of this study is to clarify (he relationship between the level of participation and sociability of dance sports and ego-realization. To complete this purpose, a total of 210 people were abstracted by a multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling method. Sociability, which was used by Ha(1998), was used as a measuring method and reliability coefficient was displayed from .71 to .84. Self-realization measure, developed by Min(1986), was used for measuring ego-realization, demonstration of ability, development of ability, and achievement of goal were organized as 3 low vaiables, A reliability coefficient was ranged from .70 to .92. As a process of the study, researchers and investigators collected survey, answered through self-administering method, Valid samples only were individually input into a computer and used a Multiple Regression Analysis. Analyzing with using such method and process, there are results as following. Firstly, longer the period of level of participating in dance sports, self-regulation and sociability increases. Secondly, longer the period of participation in dance sports, the chances of achieving the goal will increase and as the frequency of participation increases, so will (he ability and depending on the degree of participation, demonstration and development of ability will increase. Thirdly, dance sports participants sociability partially affects ego-realization. In other words, higher the level of social accomplishment, higher the level of social development, demonstration of ability and achievement of goal appear.
