Abstract

연구배경: 지금까지 국내에서 시행된 몇 가지 연구들에서 제2형 당뇨병은 서구인에서는 비만형이 많은 반면, 서구인들과는 달리 한국인에서는 비비만형이 오히려 더 많다고 보고하고 있다. 본 연구는 제2형 당뇨병 환자들의 진단시 비만형의 비율와 그 비율의 연도별 변화를 알아보고 이를 서구인과 비교하기 위해 후향적으로 시행되었다. 방법: 1991년, 1996년, 2001년 각 년도에 처음으로 메리놀 병원 내분비 내과를 방문한 환자 중 제2형 당뇨병으로 진단 받은
