The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between athletic maturity of athletic satisfaction according to coaching behaviors of fin-swimming leader. To achieve the purpose of the study, 212 Fin-swimming athletes(125 male athletes, 87 female athletes) were selected using cluster sampling as subjects. The survey questionaries were used to collected the data. The questionnaire that was used by Chelladurai and Saleh (1978)`s Leadership Scale for Sports translated and standardized by Kim, Byoung-Hyun et al. (1990). Hersey and Blanchard (1977)`s Member Maturation Scale. The statistical techniques for data analysis were descriptive statistics analysis, one-way ANOVA, standard multiple regression analysis and path analysis. The findings of this study were as follows: First, there was a significant difference in athletic maturity and athletic satisfaction by socio-demographic variables. Second, the degree of coaching behaviors of fin-swimming leader influence on athletic maturity. Third, the degree of coaching behaviors of fin-swimming leader influence on athletic satisfaction. Fourth, athletic maturity influence on satisfaction, lastly, coaching behaviors of fin-swimming leader, athletic maturity and athletic satisfaction are correlated.
