The purpose of this study is to analyze the involvement motivation of marathon club members. The subjects are composed of 295members of marathon clubs in Kwang Won · Kung Kee Province, The result of this study is as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the marathon involvement motivation among demographic characteristics, self-esteem sub variable showed statistically significant difference according to sex, and the sub variables of psychological coping · self-esteem · social recognition showed statistically significant difference according to age. In addition, the sub variables of life meaning · psychological coping · self-esteem · striving · social recognition showed statistically significant difference according to job Second, as a result of analyzing the marathon involvement motivation among marathon involvement level, all of sub variables excluding self-esteem showed statistically significant difference according to involvement period, all of sub variables excluding self-esteem · weight concern · socialization showed statistically significant difference according to involvement frequency, and all of sub variables excluding weight concern · social recognition · socialization showed statistically significant difference according to running milage a week.
