The Study for old people has become going on the sociology, psychology and nursing area, however, the study of the structure of the residental space for them is not enough. In developed country, the study with the concept of Silver Town community, not a nursing camp(like an asylum), has been keeping on actively, but in Korea, there are few studies of developing the space where old people, who has the economic power and stable position in society and family, can live enjoying the rest of life, as the concept, that the welfare policy for old people would be to provide them with the facilities mainly for diet life and nursing camp, caused the studies to be concentrated with the tourism development. The unidentified concept for Silver Town(namely old people`s community) was identified community for old people which is funded by healthy old people who are over 60, in charge with operating expense about the community and have economic independence; the community which, in special area, provides old people with residential facilities and the opportunity for relaxation with all programs for recreation, sports, culture and education for old people in order to live a comfortable life; the community which has medical facilities preparing against desease caused in old people`s long stay and bank facilities for resident; the complex developed community (facility space) which has resort function area where old parents can get along with their decendants to creat vigorous residential space, not inactive space.
