Food culture had changed and progressed very slowly since the beginning of human being. However, it started to become faster in it`s speed after the settlement of agriculture. Industrial Revolution in the late 18th century accelerated cultural development and the change of food culture. Informations on the food have been spreaded by various media and attributed to the globalization of food culture of many conturies. Progress in agriculture and food processing, frequent contact with foreign countries and the import of foreign food culture have changed and globalized the food culture in Korea. And, I guess such changes in natural and human environment as the progress of science and technology, family - nuclearization, social activities of women, increase of income and mass-media will make it possible for human to enjoy more processed, unpolluted health food. So I suggest related industries be prepare for these changes through peculiar management. But, Korean traditional food culture are losing ground and they more enjoy eating out than ever. However, I am concerned Koreans` food culture is losing orthodoxy and being assimilated to other countries. So I strongly suggest researches be made on dining ettiquette and food cultuer which are related with Korean traditional way.
