三山川에서 採集된 쌀미꾸러의 形態的 特徵을 檢討하였다. 이는 쌀미꾸리가 三山川에서 처음으로 採集된 例이며 同時에 西海 南部로 流入되는 河川에서도 처음으로 發見된 例이다. 그리고 쌀미꾸리는 從前대로 기름종개科의 종개亞科로 分類하였다.

Morphological characteristics of the eight barbel loach, Lefua costata, from the Samsan-river is examined. This is the first record of Lefua costata not only from this river but from the rivers flowing into the Southern part of West Sea, Korea. Lefua costata is classified into Noemacheilinae of Cobitidae as usual.
