서울, 인천 그리고 경기도에 대한 녹세조사를 토대로 이들 지역의 녹지자연도의 현황, 식물 현존량 및 생산량을 추정하였다. 녹지자연도는 등급 10을 제외한 모든 등급이 사정되었으며 평균 녹지자연도는 서울이 2.3, 인천이 2.6 그리고 경기도가 4.4로 나타났다. 식물현존량은 서울 1,266,740t, 인천 7,965,490t 그리고 경기도가 43,689,390t이며 순생산량은 서울 300,700t/y, 인천 242,880t/y그리고 경기도가 8,909,070t/y 이었다. 자연지역은 경기도만이 8㎢정도 남아 있었으며 나머지 지역은 모두 반개발지역 혹은 개발지역이었다. 중점조사지역의 식물상은 서울 108과 377속 753종류, 인천 69과 155속 215종류 그리고 조사지역 전체는 137과 555속 1428종류 이었다.

The degree of green naturality (DGN), plant standing crop and net production as to Seoul, Inchon and Kyonggi district is estimated by DGN assessment, from April to October, 1991. All grades of green naturality is determined besides DGN 10 and the average DGN of Seoul, Inchon and Kyonggi district is proved to 2.3, 2.6 and 4.4 repectively. The plant standing crop and productivity of Seoul are estimated as 1266740t and 300700t/y, those of Inchon are 796540t and 242880t/y, and those of Kyonggi district are 43689390t and 8909070t/y. The flora of Seoul is consisted of 753 kinds which is arranged as 108 families, 377 genera, 640 species, 2 subspecies, 103 varieties and 8 forms, that of Inchon is 215 kinds arranged as 69 families, 155 genera, 170 species, 1 subspecies, 41 varieties and 3 forms and total flora of investigated area is 1428 kinds arranged as 137 families, 555 genera, 1174 species, 5 subspecies, 221 varieties and 28 forms.
