This thesisi inquires into the condilions where Korean farms tend to use too much fertilizer. Then, on the assumption, my arguments are as follows. The reality in which the small farms are giving too much fertilizer is to be analized. In the irst place, to explain the above mentioned in detail, a natural condition must be involved in one of those that stimulated to use much fertilizer in the Korean agriculture. Particularly, this must be account for on the basis of social or economical side. A core of the arguments which are emphasized now, is to throw a lot of fertilizer increasingly, as a merchandise of the Japanese capitalism. As is stated, so for as the agriculture of Korea had to be explained as a small farm system, the fertilizer as an article is questioned how to bring with the agriculture on the supply process of it. After emancipated from the Japanese, mis ruleie the manure is being imported from abroad in reality. For a manure which is to solve the trouble, the fertilizer must be supplied from the domestic production facilities which are building up for the need. Nevertheless, there is not only much trouble to eliminate the gap, but a chain of subordinate problems at the same time. Out of them, one of the original condition that manure has itself, seems unlikely to solve it easily.
