본 연구는 아동의 양심 발달에서 정의적 불안감과 행동적인 통제과정을 설명하는 변인을 검토하고 아동의 양심 발달, 부모의 양육행동, 아동의 가정환경, 아동의 기질 간의 관계를 분석하는 것이다. 연구결과, 아동 양심의 정의적 불안감을 가장 많이 설명하는 변인은 아동의 반응성, 금지통제성, 충동성, 어머니의 수용적인 양육행동이었다. 아동 양심의 행동적 통제 성분을 가장 많이 설명하는 변인은 아동의 금지통제성, 반응성, 어머니의 수용적인 양육행동이었다.

This study examines the variables contributing to conscience development : Affective discomfort and behavior control. The 319 mothers who were selected for this study were mothers of kindergartners in Taegu City. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, multiple regression analysis and correlation analysis. The results were as follows: The variables most greatly contributing to affective discomfort were the child`s reactivity, inhibitory control, the child`s impulsiveness, and the mother`s warm/affection style. The variables most greatly contributing to behavior control were inhibitory control, the child`s reactivity, and the mother`s warm/affectionate style.
