본 연구는 제 5차 유치원 교육과정에서 중시되고 있는 기본생활습관을 평가하기 위한 척도를 개발하기 위하여 실시되었다. 본 평가 도구는 유치원과 초등학교 저학년(만 3세∼초등학교 3학년)에 재학 중인 아동의 기본생활습관을 평가할 수 있도록 제작되었는데, 총 30문항으로 구성되었으며, `예절`, `질서`, `절제`, `청결`의 4개 하위 덕목으로 나누어져 있다. 본 연구를 통하여 기본생활습관 평가척도의 내적 일관성 신뢰도, 검사-재검사 신뢰도, 구인 타당도, 내용 타당도, 안면 타당도, 준거 관련 타당도, 판별 타당도가 검증되었으며, 연구 결과 각 신뢰도와 타당도가 높음이 검증되었다.

The purpose of this study was to develop an assessment scale for evaluating children`s basic-life-habits at school. The scale consists of 30 items. The scale`s internal consistency reliability, test-retest reliability, construct validity, content validity, face validity, predictive validity, and discriminant validity were found to be high. Theoretical and practical implications of this study are discussed and suggestions made for further study.
