The purpose of this paper is to examine the present conditions and the difficult problems of the Summerhill School and also to evaluate the result of its education. We are concerned about the present conditions, the eleven years after the radical founder A.S. Neill`s death. This paper describes the system of the School, the school life and the curriculum, the educational method, the financial condition and the problems of the school. And also I tried to evaluate the result of its education. This paper is written out by the writer`s real experience to visit and observe the Summerhill School and the datum collected there, July 1982.
