To find microorganisms to degrade 7 kinds of polycarbonates prepared from waste carbon dioxide, U1 microbial consortium were discovered from Ulsook waste landfill in Busan, where degradation rate of PPC-PVL and PVL were 1.6*10 EXP (2) PPC-PVL/(day L) and 3.4*10 EXP (-2) g PVL/(day L), respectively. Y1 microorganisms from waste sewage treatment in Busan degraded PPC-PVL and PPC, where degradation rate of PPC-PVL and PPC were 1.9*10 EXP (-2) g PPC-PVL/(day L) and 5.5 *10 EXP (-3) g PPC/(day L), respectively.
