Musical movement games are very effective in music classes, especially for young children. The purpose of this research is to present basic principals and to develop games in musical movements. The purpose of movement games in music classes are following. 1) Listening to music is the most important thing for movement activities in music classes. 2) The students must feel and control their body freely. 3) All the concepts of music can be taught through movements in classes. 4) Games are useful for teaching movements in music classes. These are guidelines for following the comfort with movement teaching progression. 1) Devise ways for students to be as inconspicuous as possible. 2) Introduce activities that do not require specific use of the right or left side of the body. 3) Suggest activities that allow the students to ve successful because there is no right or wrong way to do the movement or solve the problem. 4) Use movement and imagery activities that are age-appropriate. 5) Do not introduce a creative activity without first doing some simple problem-solving or guided exploration tasks.
