The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between the child temperament, mother`s child rearing attitude and child behavior problem. The subjects were 132 children(4 to 5-year olds) who were kindergarten children and their mothers, and their 6 teachers. The instruments were the Revised Infant Temperament Questionnaire and Maternal Behavior Research Instrument revised by the researcher. In order to achieve this purpose, the following questions were examined. 1. Are there any differences between maternal attitude for children`s temperament and mother`s perception ?. 2. Are there any differences between the behavior disorder and the children`s temperament perceived by mother ? 3. Are there any differences between mother`s attitude for the child`s behavior disorder in kindergarten and mother`s child-rearing ? The analysis of the data was based on the X-square test and Pearsion correlation analysis by using the SAS program. The following is the results from the analysis. 1. There was a significant difference between children`s temperament and child`s behavior disorder in kindergarten. 2. There was more significant difference between children`s temperament percieved by their teachers and children`s behavior disorder than between children`s temperament perceived by their mothers and children`s behavior disorder in the kindergarten.
