The Economist, England predicted about 30% of the total volume of world`s trades world be marked as an accomplishment by Electronic Commerce. Therefore it is coming to over us as a new world trade environment that is not the strategic choice to the companies but the threatening reality of their existences if they are not preparing for it. Since Korea Electricity Corporation has constructed the bidirectional Optical fiber Network of best-quality and high-performance in the world, now we are in the highly competitive position and we can take a lead in the Multimedia Age only if we find the method to utilize the application. Whereas a series of developments concerning Electronic Commerce is expected in every businesses respectively, it is true researches on the package designs of commodities that customers will meet while they are surfing the cyberspace for sopping are not practically made. These researches on the pakage designs of commodities are most important parts to both companies and customers and the roles of the package design are generally emphasized on the basis that commodity differentiation is the most important part also in the aspect of Brand advertisement strategy. Moreover, as most of real commodities, let alone abstract commodities that could be sent directly through Electronic Commerce on the internet characteristically, are delivered by door-to-door service, one of trade method types applied by Intelligent Transport System etc., considering their storage and delivery, a new approach to structure, material, labeling and standardzation of package design should be made systematically in Electronic Commerce.
