Although relapsing fever is rarely seen in recent decades, there was an epidemic in Korea between 1918 and 1919, This paper is to present the analysis of clinical data of 262 patients with relapsing fever who were observed by Dr. Ho Sup Shim during the period. 253 patients (96%) were male and 9(3. 4%) patients were female with age of prevalence being 16-35 years. Most of the cases occured between March and June. Major symptoms consist of fever (81%), myalgia (80%), headache (79%), and lumbago (37%). Hepatosplenomegaly was present in almost all patients. The recurrence and mortality rate was 28% and 18% in untreated groups while 1% and 2% in treated with Salvarsan.
