본 연구는 청소년의 성주체성이 갖는 함의와 이것이 왜 지금의 우리나라에 도입되어야 하는지에 대한 당위성에 관한 연구로서 아래와 같은 4가지 연구문제를 설정하고 그에 대한 해답을 찾고자 논지를 전개한 글이다. 첫째, 청소년기에 성과 성적 주체성이 갖는 의의와 필요성은 무엇이며 청소년들이 성행동을 하는 이유는 무엇인가? 둘째, 청소년의 성행동에 대해 우리 사회에서는 어떤 관점을 가지고 있으며 기존의 관점이 청소년의 성문제 예방 및 해결에 적합한가? 과연 청소년들은 성적 결정능력이 없는가? 전통적 성가치관은 급격히 변화하는 현 사회에도 고수되어야 하는가? 셋째, 우리 사퇴에서 청f2년의 성주체성이 도입되어야 할 이유는 무엇이며 청소년 성주체성이 요구되는 사회적 맥락은 무엇인가? 넷째, 청소년 성주체성 확립은 우리 청소년과 사회에 어떤 함의가 있는가? 이에 대한 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년기의 성은 그들의 성정체감은 물론 자아정체감 형성에 영향을 미친다. 그리고 청소년의 성행둥의 원인에는 자연스런 발달과정에서 생기는 신체, 생리적인 측면뿐 아니라 사회, 문화적 요소가 강하게 작용하기 때문에 청소년성행동의 이해에 있어서는 이러한 요소들이 종합적으로 고려되어야 한다는 것이다. 둘째, 청소년의 성문제에 있어 지금까지 의심 없이 받아들여 왔던 금욕절, 절제 위주의 전통적인 접근방법이 청소년의 성문제 예방이나 해결에 효율적이지 못하며 청소년과 성주체성에서 그 해결점을 찾아야 한다. 셋째, 우리나라의 경우 성에 대해 이중적 기준, 남녀차별적 요소가 타다. 또한 청소년 성행위에 따른 실제적인 문제, 즉 피임, 십대 임신, 낙태, 출산, 성병 등의 문제에 무방비 상태에 놓여 있다. 이에 반해 우리나라 성교육은 청소년의 실제적인 욕구와 성평등예 부합하지 못하고 있을 뿐만 아니라 지극히 피상적이다. 청소년들이 성과 관련해서 주체적으로 판단하고 결정할 수 있는 능력을 키워주는 것이 절대적으로 필요한 시점이다. 넷째, 따라서 우리 사회에서 청소년의 성주체성 확립은 청소년의 자아정계감 형성에 기여하고 성폭력 둥 청소년의 성범죄 예방에 도움이 되며 청소년의 자기결정권 신장 및 청소년의 성건강권을 보장하며 더 나아가서는 양성평등한 성가치관 확립 및 건강한 성문화정착에 기여할 것이다.

This literature study is to provide bases and frames for a specific future policy and service development by asserting that building of adolescents` sexual subjectivity should be a basic direction in solving and preventing their problems in Korea, Several major topics are discussed for the study such as whether traditional viewpoints are appropriate to solve and prevent sexual problems by discussing an existing argument about their problems, whether they have a decision ability about sex, and social context and its effect requiring establishment of sexual subjectivity are also studied in our society. The study revealed that sexual behaviour and interests of adolescents are one of the part of natural developmental stages. Especially, it showed that their sexual subjectivity has great influences on their sexual, self identity and even on their future development and adjustment as well. Also it made clear that the traditional viewpoints were not effective ones in solving and preventing their sexual problems. Positive viewpoints about securing their sexual subjectivity are emerging these days among experts of this area. To support strongly the necessities of their sexual subjectivity, several social backgrounds are discussed here like opening of their sexual awareness and behaviour, distorted sex culture and increase of sex related problems, sex education problems, limitation of existing set related services for them, and global trend of accepting their sexual subjectivity. In conclusion building of their prevention of sex related offenses, guarantee of their decision right about sex, establishment of equal values about opposite sex, and settlement of healthy sex cultures.
