The nutritional status and immune response in 120 cancer patients and 10 infectious disease were
examined Since they are significant in the prognosis of them The nutritional status could be estimated by measuring parameters such as body weight, serum protein concentration and total blood lymphocyte count The results were as follows; As the higher the patient had the average total CMI score, the more positive antigens he had. less body weight loss, the higher serum albumin level and the more total lymphocyte count That patient might reveal the better prognosis. The average total CMI score of the infectious disease group was lower than that of stomach group and higher than that of thyroid cancer group. Hepatobiliary cancer group was the highest anergy incidence.
