Remnant gastric cancer was defined as cancers that dcveloped in the stomach after the resection of nonmalignant lesions or malignant lesions. In the previous malignant lesions. the interval between gastectomy and the detection of remnant gastric cancer must by over 10 years. Recently we experienced 4 cases of remnant gastric cancer. 4 cases of remnant gastric cancer were all male patients and were developed only in the anas tomosis portion. The average interval between primary gastric resection and the detection of remnant gastric cancer was 22.5 years. The all primary gastric resections were done by Billroth II method. We all primary gastric regular endoscopic examination for the early detection of remnant gastric cancer after the gastric resection.
