33 cases of duadenal diverticula were visualized on 194b upper gastrointestinal series in our clinic during recent 3 years (l. 7%). Sex distribution was 54. 5,o in male and 45. 5% in female, and the highest incidence in age- distribution was found in 5th and 6th decade of life (72. 7%). More than four-fifths were located in the second portion of the dvodenum: 10. 8Fo ivere in the third portion: 8. Lio were in the first portion. 97io ivere medial and 3Fo were ]ateral. Solitary diverticulum was found in 87. 9%, and 12. 1% were multiple. The size of diverticu]um ivas various ranging from Smm to 50mm in longitudinal diarneter, except only one giant diverticulurn of 78mm. Epigastric discomfortness, upper abdominal vague pain, indigestion, anorexia, nausea, vomiting and acid belching were found in most of the cases of duodenal diverticulum, and relieved by bland diet, antiacid and anti cholinergic drugs.
