Clear cell basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is an unusual variant of BCC which is characterized by a variable component of large clear cells. Clear cell changes were displayed trichilemmal differentiation but recently are more consistent with degenerative phenomenon than that. We describe a case which clinically looked like superficial type BCC or Bowen's disease, presenting as a crusted eruption on the abdomen and histologically showed mixed clear cell BCC with distinct pagetoid infiltration of clear cells in the overlying epidermis.
