Intravascular papilary endothelial hyperplasia(IPEH) is a benign, non-neoplastic, vascular lesion, that is characterized histologically by papillary projections lined by proliferating endothelium in a vascular lumen. We describe a case of IPEH occuring on upper lip, an unusual site of the lesion, in 16-year-old man and stress the importance of an adequate understanding of this benign vascular disorder, since it resembles a low-grade angiosarcoma.
