Isolated epidermolytic acanthoma (IEA) is a rare acquired benign tumor that presents as verrucous or papillomatous papule less than 1 cm in diameter. It does not have a characteristic clinical appearance or location and occasionally, several lesions are seen in a localized area. Histologically, it is characterized by epidermolytic hyperkeratosis, also referred to as granular degeneration. We present a case of 35 year-old male who had several lesions of epidermolytic acanthomas localized on the scrotum in the absence of any symptom. (Korean J Dermatol 2000;38(5):643~645)
