Lymphangiectasia(acquired lymphangioma) represents acquired dilatations of lymphatics which closely resemble congenital lymphangioma clinically and his opathologically. This rare disorder may arise as a result of aquired lymphatic obstruction secondary to surgery, irradiation, chronic scar, or trauma. We present herein a case of lymphangiectasia in a 43-year-old female on a postirradiation site. She developed grouped tense oozing vesicles on the vulva, 8 years after total abdominal hysterectomy and postoperative irradiation for carcinoma of the uterine cervix. Laser therapy with the carbon doioxide laser was performed.
