자간전증은 20주이상의 임신으로 유발된 고혈압과 이에 동반된 단백뇨, 부종으로 정의된다. 자간증은 자간전증에 어떤 신경적 이상이 동반되지 않은 경련이 있을 때를 말한다. 자간증이나 전자간증 환자에서의 주된 사망원인은 뇌출혈이며, 다른 사망의 원인으로는 폐부종이 동반된 심부전, 위내용물의 폐흡인, 미만성 혈관내 혈액응고, 급성 신부전, 패혈증 등이 있다. 2명의 자간증환자에서 CT로 정확히 진단된 뇌출혈이 발생한 2예를 보고하는 바이다.

Preeclampsia is defined as the development of hypertension with proteinuria, edema induced by pregnancy after 20th week of gestation. Eclampsia implies the occurrence of convulsion unrelated to any coexisting neurologic disease in a preeclampsia. The leading cause of maternal death in preeclampsia-eclampsia is intracerebral hemorrhage. Other causes of morbidity include congestive heart failure with pulmonary edema, pulmonary aspiration of gastric contents, disseminated intravascular coagulation, acute renal failure and septic shock. We report two cases of intracerebral hemorrage in two patients with eclampsia in whom the CT scan allowed precise diagnosis.
