저자들은 14세 소녀가 하복통을 주소로 내원하여 다낭성 난소가 염전과 풀림이 반복되어서 초래된 난소 과부종의 1예를 경험하였기에 간단한 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Massive edema of the ovary previously has been described as a clinical and pathological entity, yet there has been no reference to it in standard textbooks. This process is either underreported or very rare. We experienced one case of massive edema of the ovary, and report this case with a brief review of the literatures.
