저자들은 1984년 1월부터 1994년 12월까지 한양대학병원 산부인과에 내원한 골반결핵 환자 11예를 대상으로 수술 전 시행한 초음파소견을 분석하였으나 비특이적이었다. 초음파검사상 난소조양 등의 소견이 보이는 경우에도 골반결핵의 가능성을 염두에 두어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

A study has been made for ultrasonographic findings of 11 cases of pelvic tuberculosis in women who have been treated during 10 years from Jan.1, 1984 to Dec.12, 1994. Among 11 cases, 1 case was histologically proved with endometrial biopsy and 10 cases were histologically proved with surgical specimen at laparotomy. In age distribution, 21-40 aged group was common and the average age was 33.9 years old. In the past history, 6 cases of pelvic tuberculosis revealed one or more extra pelvic tuberculosis including tuberculous pleurisy(4 cases), tuberculous peritonitis(2 cases). An ultrasonographic findings were adnexal mass(11 cases), ascites(4 cases), and adhesion band(1 case).
