저자들은 본원 산부인과에서 1995년 10월, 복부 종물을 주소로 내원한 13세 소녀에서 시험 개복술 결과 발견된 원발성 난소-과칼슘성 소세포암 1례를 경험하였기에 간단한 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

A case of small cell carcinoma of the ovary occurring in a 13-year-old patient is described. The tumor differs in its histologic, electron microscopic, immunohistochemical, and flow cytometric features from the pulmonary type of small cell carcinoma that may metastasize to the ovary from the lung and other organs or rarely may be primary in the ovary. The cell lineage of the small cell carcinoma remains a mystery. We experienced one case of small cell carcinoma of the ovary in a 13-year-old patient and report this case with a brief review of the concerned literatures.
