Primary cancers of the fallopian tube are the rarest of female genital tract malignancies, and almost all are adenocarcinomas. This malignancy comprises approximately 0.5%-1.1% of all gynecologic malignncies. To be considered a primary carcinoma of the fallopian tube, the tumor must be located grossly within the fallopian tube, the uterus and ovary must either not contain carcinoma. Approximately 80% to 90% of fallopian tube malignancies are metastatic from other sites, usually arising in the ovary or uterus and occasionally in the gastrointestinal tract. The history and behavior of tubal carcinoma are similar to ovarian cancer;thus, the evaluation and treatment are also essentially the same. We experienced a case of fallopian tube cancer and report with brief review of literature.
